i'm pretty sure he just doesn't own a capture card or something, and i doubt it really takes any experience baddy doesn't already have to use one lol.
This. Pretty sure capture cards don't come cheap/ubiquitous

yea I guess that as well.
It's not like baddy is gonna spend a ton of money for one video.

i guess you could say Valve have put themselves in... a bad-spot
 YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

When in doubt tap it out.

Badspots a game coder not a Youtuber Experinced let's player.
Of course hes not going to make his first video capture the screen. he doesn't have any experience with making it work.

then run it through a DVD player and just burn the output to a $0.99 dvd

i mean its not complicated, i was doing that stuff when i was like 10

i agree with dis post

yeah, i'm a little disappointed that badspot didn't record this ins 4k 180p hd hdmi titan graphics in seven screens with after effects, i can't really understand what's going on due to the intense, blinding glare.

he's not doing a let's play or anything, he's just doing an unboxing/first impressions video

he's not shooting a movie
he's just doing an unboxing/first impressions video

its not really a harsh criticism, i'm not saying that the video is ruined because he didnt use screen capture techniques

it just rubs me as unprofessional, like the half a billion let's plays and unboxes on youtube that are just dudes holding shaky camcorders with dodgy autofocus.

I would understand if he did this for a living, but this video was probably just a one-off thing; there's no point in buying a capture card or burning a DVD for it

those were the most god like hands i have ever seen. he truly is the one, almighty, Badspot.
but anyways, that controller looks really hard to use. i didn't really see any labels or anything on it

Besides that, he didn't actually do anything that required a capture card. He just took a couple glancing looks at the UI, and this was more about the physical machine than the OS anyways. Calm down.

Calm down.

forget you, i have every right to make criticism you brown town piece of stuff. saying "calm down" every time someone criticizes something you like is patronizing as hell and is an immature and stupid way of dismissing valid opinions.
