Author Topic: My Photography- with an ipod  (Read 1448 times)

As some of you know, an ipod sometimes had bad quality when it comes to the camera.
I got through that.

So, post what you think! I will be posting new photos here every so often!

5/10 less dreary, otherwise 9/10
lol jk

the first one looks very unprofessional like there's nothing in particular to focus on
the second one is alright i guess
the last one looks like an accidental picture imo

The first looks best to me (pretty good for beginner macro photography with an iPod). The second one is ok in quality, but lacking in a subject. The third is... interesting. It could work, but I think it'd have to be alongside some sort of theming.

this board is really slow

i was expecting something decent but the first picture gave me a nice long laugh

But they were taken with an iPod. :o

so? tons of pictures are taken with ipods in that thread

heck i even took OP's photos with an iPhone 4S

Device doesn't matter much if it isn't professional photography
I just end up taking pictures of the interactions of light, water, and glass, and then mess with stuff in aviary afterwards.
Anyhow, those really aren't fantastic photos. The third at least had something going on.

This. And depending on the style of photography you're doing, you may actually use a cheap camera on purpose, just to achieve a certain effect impossible to get with a nice camera.

Anyone who is interested in photography should remember this: You don't take photographs, you make them. In the end (unless it's just a terrible, impossible to use camera), the camera doesn't matter - it's the skill and knowledge of the photographer. I wish sometimes that I could take photos with my iPod, but it's a 5th gen with only the front facing ones, so it's really only any good for selfies. :(

I'm not very fond of the top one, it's very plain and it is out of focus, it doesn't really draw the eye to anything.
The second one is okay, but it needs some post processing work, like changing the white point to remove the red colour.
The third one is good, but something just feels a bit off, I think it might be the framing or the angle, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Good work though.

the horizon isn't straight

none of them have very interesting subjects

Thanks for the feedback guys!
