the fountain
fight club
rubber

grave encounters 1/2
the second one explains the first really well
so you need to watch both

Why does nearly everyone say this? I thought it was pretty good
although I haven't seen the original so if its something like they screwed with the story I could get it then
Like the new judge dredd was a shame to the original I think
List of reasons why the remake is terrible:
1. Way too many lens flares, even worse than J. J. Abrams' lens flare obsession. At parts of the movie, it became so bad that it was hard to watch.
2. The plot was a complete mess, they tried to put in way too many plot elements and by the end of the movie, you are left with a confused headache trying to make sense of it all. The orginial didn't over complicate things, you knew what you were watching.
3. The campy feel that the orginial has is gone. The remake took itself too seriously.

Dr. Strangelove or how i stopped worrying and learned to love the bomb!

how dare you insult one of the greatest movies of all forgetin' time
ugh no it was terrible.
All the boring parts take up the majority of the film and any interesting or suspenseful parts go by in a couple minutes.
Watch a different Kubrick movie.

The Hunger Games + The Hunger Games: Catching Fire

The book was pretty good though.

I thought it was setting up an environment that would also feel like an experience and I liked it
I thought the long shots of the scenery was stunning, and they're long because they're meant to leave space so you can breath when a suspenseful part does happen
And daww come on it works perfectly for you. "I'm sorry, Devo, I'm afraid I can't do that."
But hey, if you don't like it, you don't like it, and at the least I'm pretty sure you've dabbled quite a bit in Kubrick Movies yourself. I think many movies deserve a second watch however and maybe you could try it again with a more critical eye or something like that. I said this before but I didn't like Nausicaa of the Wind and I have yet to attempt to rewatch it, and hey, since everyone else likes it, either there's something that I missed the first viewing or maybe I just won't like it again. I forget which Hitchrooster movie that people had a hard time watching at first, I think it was Vertigo, and they said that after a second run they enjoyed it.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is my favorite Studio Ghibli movie though. The music is fantastic and very memorable. I only watched it once but I really enjoyed the movie.

alright I've been meaning to watch the original for a while but I guess I should stop putting it off
ether way I enjoyed it but I like nearly anything cyberpunk
although it did cram a lot of different plot in to one movie leaving me wishing they had gone into more detail on some stuff or just not put so much in but thats my opinion

speaking of cyberpunk how could I forget Aeon Flux I remember it having quite a few cheesy feels in it but its still stuck in my head as a great and intrestibg movie
