In Australia we have a candy named "Redskins". People take about as much notice of it as they do with "Golden Gaytime".

Yeah this is dumb. Good example like the term 'black' is the more socially acceptable term for African Americans in this time. It isn't a racial problem IMO.

They should be honored to be the mascot of a pro football team.  Besides, it reflects on the culture of the United States as a whole.  We Americans should stop looking at each other in terms of race and just look at each other simply as Americans.  It would help clear up a lot of the bullstuff our country is in now.

a mascott name is meaningless anyway when players and teams can be drafted over state lines and bought and sold back and forth.
