anyways i am still having some weird moral conflict about restarting my town i want somebody to persuade me either way

What is there left to do in your current town? Pluck the weeds, maybe? Make more money for random public works to make you feel like you're progressing when you've already gotten far (I assume anyway)?

Restarting your game gives you goals, albeit they're goals you already accomplished, I once again assume it's been awhile since you've played so they aren't fresh in your mind.

Designing towns is so much fun and you'll get to create a new and exciting town, or simply improve on your old town theme, in case you didn't something weird you didn't like very much.

There will be much more to do, and it'll be a lot more fun than continuing a near end game town

well what you could do is set the town ordinance to "bell bloom" (i think, it has something to do with money and sounds similar) and then go to the island to catch the big, usually rare bugs on the outer trees around 8:00 pm.
get a stuff ton and then sell them for like 200,000 bells.

Only catch Golden Stags and Horned Hercules for maximum bells, but a slightly longer time

You can easily make 1 million in 3 days by doing this. If you're really fast and start right  at 8, you could pull it off in a single day.
Also Bell Boom Ordinance will increase the sell price by like 20% I think, but the Keep Town Beautiful ordinance is master race

The CD Player can play songs that you either get from a wandering guitarist turned DJ or you can buy them from an upgraded Timmy and Tommy store which upgrades depending on how long you have played the game along with how much you have spent.
