Author Topic: Daft Punk swept the Grammys.  (Read 7222 times)

if deadmou5 never wore that handicapped mouse head. all the kids today would think his music is just the boring stuffty indie hipster electro trash it actually is.

visuals sell on stupid people

in his case it really is just a vain gimmick, yeah
i mean, yeah, Daft Punk's look has that effect on lesser minds too, but it's not intended to be like that at least

Bleh.

forget Daft Punk.
Short looping generic music.

Boggles my mind why people enjoy it.

Edit: Okay, somebody explained it for me.
The reason why Daft Punk is popular is because stupid people need short looping music to stay interested with their short, short attention spans. It makes sence now.

Crazy. What a great comeback from Daft Punk, missing for years and they suddenly show up at full speed on the hype train and win the grammy.

Really? I thought R.A.M was at least a deviation from typical pop music, and it's good that they diversified a bit.

Are a few generic looping tracks a good deviation? Daft Punk was good, but I can't see why people value their newest album over generic things.

Boards of Canada is better.

daft punk and lorde totally swept it

"how some one direction aren't nominated for grammies but loving robots (aka daft punk) are"

HRGGGGG

Boards of Canada is better.
