which is better?
Day z
Rust
or Arma 2 with day Z mod?

I haven't played DayZ standalone yet.

Rust is pretty fun, it needs some work for sure and finding a good server and people to play with can be difficult. Not many forumers play it that I know of.
But I would play it with you cause I'm nice :D.

I wouldn't suggest Arma 2 day Z mod because I've heard it's lost most of it's playerbase, but it you've already got Arma 2 then go for it.

From what I've seen of Day Z and Rust game play, they aren't really comparable.

I suggest watching game play and then picking the one that you like the most, or just get both because they aren't really that expensive.

Get Battlefield 2 instead.

DayZ seems more realistic and more immersive than rust, imo

Rust is ew
my feels.

Also don't let rust fool you. Unless you play a server with rare military/no military. Pretty much most people will have a M4/MP5 and it's a little disappointing. Game is still fun though if you like the kill or be killed genre of games. I've met some cool dudes who helped me get geared up and saved me from getting raided before.
Good game though and it's heading in a good direction I think.

Also zombies are not a thing in Rust. Yes they are there.. but they were supposed to be removed before the alpha was released and still are going to be removed.

rust isn't nearly as fun as it looked like it was supposed to be.
and way to easy for people to get bored and grief. and griefing on that game is nearly all you can do.

Get Battlefield 2 instead.
this is the stupidest suggestion i've heard in a long time. why

from all the vids i see i think dayz SA is the way to go
although rust does look fun... but i dont have it so :(

I own both and prefer Rust right now because it's a lot easier to play.

Anyone got a spare copy of DayZ?

My cousin puts Rust into nice words:

"I ran outside one time to find a group of naked people with rocks, except one had a shirt on. They decided to call the one with the shirt their leader, and they let me join their group. We'd find random players and beat them with rocks, while naked, then collect their items."

You just cant do that in DayZ.
