Author Topic: Forecasters blamed for Atlanta mess  (Read 1414 times)

That still happens up here all the time, not disaster worthy.
The south doesn't have the infrastructure to deal with frozen roads. Not a lot of ice tires or rock salt down here

When I'm a meteorologist, this won't happen.

Not saying its the right thing to blame them, just saying I'll be accurate ;)

I wouldn't blame the forecasters, they make predictions only. What should of been done is proper preparation. The mayor of Atlanta is nothing but a pathetic and pitiful man, they only got 2 inches and it was disastrous.

don't flatter yourself

Hey man, I predicted this outbreak six days in advance AND without even watching TV at all.

11+ tornadoes touched down within 100 miles of me.  One of them was about 1-1.5 miles away.

Quote
Michael Fish

He became infamous in the wake of the Great Storm of 1987; a few hours before the storm broke, on 15 October 1987, he said during a forecast: "Earlier on today, apparently, a woman rang the BBC and said she heard there was a hurricane on the way... well, if you're watching, don't worry, there isn't!". That evening, the worst storm to hit South East England for three centuries caused record damage and killed 19 people.
I can't believe it. He's practically got the blood of those people on his hands!

They're all in it together, Don't believe the lies of the weather, It's all an illuminati illusion to get you to buy multiple pairs of shoes.
