Actually, this isn't true.
The YAL-1's production ceased when my main account was banned when Boeing and Airbus became defunct. Airbus is planning to buy Boeing out from under them which would continue the YAL's production to slow. Plus, Japan is a neutral nation that is not politically affiliated with any side, so it is unlikely that military production will continue.
Passenger production will still continue. Soon, the YAL-1's progress will continue if not for the sake of selling to other nations, along with the creation of the iconic Airbus A380 that is planned soon.
The Japanese government ceases to produce military technology for itself, but increases to set up heavy border control from nations that are violent like Russia or the US.
