Author Topic: Should I buy an ipad mini  (Read 1469 times)

This.
I would go with an iPad mini because of its build quality, but I would rather an Android tablet due to its functionality.
Double this. It's all up to preference though; it's possible OP prefers apple products and iOS over Android, but if OP hasn't tried apple products before at all, android would probably be a better place to start. If OP is more familiar with Apple, then they should get the mini.

nexus 7
cheaper and better

No
buy a Kindle Fire
has more stuff and it's cheaper.
no
I have a kindle fire hd and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone, except maybe for parents buying something for their 4-12 year old kids

Personally I would get an android tablet but it's all how much you want to spend and what you prefer.
This.
Does everything an iPad can do with more customization, but without Apple's stuff.
AND LESS COST.

nexus 7 or galaxy tab 10 brah

Why would you buy an over sized phone.

Why would you buy an over sized phone.
Why would you not buy an oversized phone?

Why would you buy an over sized phone.
so you can sit with it at starbucks typing something and pretend to be classy

I only recommend you to buy what you want and spend on what you want, we have different opinions and choices over tablets so we might give you a hard time.

Why would you not buy an oversized phone?
Because it does nothing more then the phone in your pocket? and even more it's an iPad mini meaning it's an over sized phone that is slightly smaller then an over sized phone.

It costs $400 that is equal to a Windows tablet: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/asus-transformer-book-t100

That's a full laptop right there in tablet form, that's everything from Photoshop to low end games.

It's processor is a quad core (Only 1.33 GHz but still)
It's 32GB over 16GB space.
It's a 10in screen over a 7.9in
It has 11 hours of Battery compared to 10

Again, why the forget would you buy an over sized over priced phone?

edit: oh and I do know your post is sarcasm but I wanted to expand on it.

bbb-b-but my apple products!!!! m--m-muh IOS!!!!

Hear me out on this quickly. I recently bought one of these since I really wanted a tablet with Windows 8, and I had a very small budget for it. I was really skeptical, particularly since it was made by Dell, but I read the reviews for it and similar priced tablets and decided to go with it. To be honest, it was a really good choice. It's really sturdy, it's fast, it has full windows 8.1 on it, and it even has a pretty decent camera (one on each side). The only real drawback is that there are a couple slight issues with it that I imagine are sorted out in more expensive tablets, namely an issue with the screen brightness control not working while the 'auto adjust brightness' option is enabled and the device freezing up sometimes when you try to log in too quickly. It otherwise performs exactly as I had hoped it would.
