Author Topic: 11-Yr Old Bullied Brony attempts Self Delete  (Read 15455 times)

I actually feel like this is fake. Googling Michael Morones only returns a few results (a little over 1 page) and most of which are donation funds. Very few news outlets have reported the story. Aside from that, the news article lists he tried to hang himself and ended up with damage to his brain, heart, and lungs. Sounds to me like someone who has no idea how hanging works (hint: the neck breaks and the brain is starved of oxygen, the heart and lungs go uninjured) just listed some vital organs. Either that or this kid hung himself by tying a rope around his torso and garroted his heart in half.

So yeah; I call BS.
the one thing is like... the article with so pathos. "when we play the theme, the EEG monitor beeps more".

this kid could easily have a terminal illness or something, which might explain the getup.

i dunno, the donations make it shady.

did the bracelet have like gay pride or something on it

i hate the weak because they have placed themselves on a pedestal of entitlement and need.
people become bronies because it is a group of people already there. and losers find an easy "in" because its easy to get by if the world knows you are some minority who is hated.
"professional victim"
that is what draws people into groups like this to begin with.

how can i respect someone who does nothing for themselves.
you mention irrelevantly how he studied the bible, as if that earns him points in some way.
but jesus himself said "i help those who help themselves"

this kid stood there waiting for gifts of acceptance. and he realized the hard truth, the hard way.

so forget that kid.

i've probably seen you post this argument in practically every thread of this caliber, and i always wonder- what makes you so strong compared to this kid? that you hate everyone and realize everything sucks, and are therefore a stronger person? do you not escape in other media from time to time?

i don't get it. you're always talking down to faceless people, but never showing where you stand

Perhaps, but have you ever considered that the kid just liked the show? How do you know he even knew there was a fanbase that he could rely on for support?

Hmm, I've also noticed that you think that people who ask for help, or the "weak", believe that they are entitled to it, and should be denied it because of it. I disagree. If someone really needs help, they should be provided it, such as bullying. I know that you are under the impression that children are supposed to be strong and capable of standing up for themselves, but not all of them are. That's just the truth.

Also, in regards to the praying thing, i'm hardly religious, i was just adding that because he was a bit weird, and perhaps that was what started the bullying.

well if they never learn, they never will be.

well if they never learn, they never will be.
yes, beat the sense into the children! all good things came from bullying!

it's an opinion we all like to say but don't like to think about, considering the dark reality

That's true, but that's where the help comes in. I think that Bisjac is under the impression that people who need help feel as if their entitled to it, and if they get it, they will be babied for the rest of their lives. That's not true, of course.

All the appealing to your emotions in the article seems like a way to say 'pls donate to dying kid.' Actually, I just realized the article itself asks you donate to one of the many donation funds.

well if they never learn, they never will be.
how old are you exactly?

WAIT GUYS, lets take a thinker. What if the whole point of this is to gain money from donations, and that boy isn't even real?
thinking every d-

itt: forget you and forget your opinion

how old are you exactly?
My best guess is 11
Any other guesses?

It's kinda like say, an emotional immune system.
People who get exposed to a certain amount though a natural environment/vaccines are obviously better off than those who have never built up any immunity.
But obviously if you get it too bad and don't have a strong immune system it can make you sick or kill you.
