Author Topic: 11-Yr Old Bullied Brony attempts Self Delete  (Read 15442 times)

you starfishs are wishing death on an 11 year old kid.

A kid that is a brony  :cookieMonster:

his parents seemed well off enough that they'd pay enough attention to notice abuse from peers
my parents dont even know that i have black friends

One of my friends is like 7 foot something and looks manly af, he is a brony but you'd never have guessed it because even though he is open about it he isn't a friend about it.
If you're a friend about anything you're gonna get picked on.
my parents dont even know that i have black friends
Say what?
That's it you're changing schools young man!

" how-you-can-help/ "
What
how we can make Self Deletes not fail in the future

I think of it as natural selection

If you can't handle the pressures of life and being bullied, and attempt such a selfish act such as Self Delete, you deserve to have it followed through.

If you're a friend about anything you're gonna get picked on.

I wish I could just use prior quotes of other people in everyday conversation because 90% of the time my thoughts have already been well stated by others.

I really don't understand the overstatement of social Darwinism in society.  When did we decide that people became unfit to live hmmmmmmm???  I mean, stuff on a similar subject happened long before, and many times, but the logic is very primitive in function:  Weak ∴ must die.

Wishing death upon a kid who may not even be real seems far out of line.  However, it seems to me that the flak should be going towards the probable profiteering campaign, since the injuries and lack of news coverage prompt much doubt.

So much overreacting over something easily preventable.
If you attempt Self Delete over something this minor you're mentally weak. Society will pick out those who are different. You can't help it if you're black or white, you can't help it if you're straight or gay, you can't help it if you're ugly or beautiful, but you can help it if you're a Brony. It's as simple as not playing with ponies or not wearing an MLP shirt. I know the typical response is "but that's giving the bullies what they want" or "that's giving into peer pressure" or something vaguely similar but people need to learn that society does not revolve around them. Society will not mend around you and take you in if you're different. If society doesn't like you that's your responsibility on how to handle it. If you think you're mentally strong enough to withstand the issues surrounding the bullying caused from being a Brony be my guest and continue on with being a Brony.
But, on the other hand, if you can't handle it, you have 3 choices: 1) Stop being a brony. 2) Seclusion 3) Self Delete

you are preaching to generation Y. The feel good, entitled, special, spoon-fed tolerance lessons at extreme levels.
so much that they actually believe when they leave school, the rest of the world acts this way. and that its even realistic to do so.
They then are hit by that harsh reality that the world does not like them, and they have to earn respect by conforming. THAT is reality.

until that happens, they will never understand. they are still waiting to be loved because they were told they should be.
god forbid you dont like something about them, they think its your fault.

It saddens me that this boy tried to kill himself because he wanted to be a brony. I'm glad that people are supporting this guy, even the non-bronies. I hope this guy lives.

Also to the people thinking this guy should die for being a brony, please stop being edgy.

This.

He's 11 and was bullied, don't be morons. So what if he is abit of an MLP fanboy?

This is the reason we cant have anything good.

People like to be forgetheads when they find a fandom that they like so they be flamboyant about it, flaunting it every which way. This is why people should only keep their opinions on stuff to themselves and not be bringing merchandise with them everywhere.

That's the only reason they get bullied, because everyone knows about it. It is fine to like something, as long as you don't shove it down peoples throats.

Its a shame people bullied him though.
