So I haven't posted in a long time, big deal. Anyways, since we had a really bad winter this year, Maryland got hit pretty bad with a winter storm the other night.

It was expected to start last night around 5:00 or 6:00... I don't really know, so I thought it wasn't going to hit because it didn't start until either really late last night or super early this morning. I woke up around 7-ish, thinking I was going to have to get ready for school and I hear raining and stuff. I looked out the window and saw that everything is literally coated in a shell of ice. So after I found out school is canceled, I tried to go back to sleep but I couldn't so I just ended up going outside.

The snow is so harshly frozen that I can stand on it and it won't break, so no footprints can be left. Hell, I even stomped into the ground and didn't leave an imprint. My rose and lilac bushes are literally frozen solid. There are icicles hanging from everything. I'm pretty sure if my terrier went out to piss, he'd have ice hanging from his doggy richard.

I'm not getting out of my pajamas if I'm not going to school.

That is literally all frozen ass ice.

Rose and lilac bush.

I took this from my bedroom window.

Here's all of the images

it would be nice to sit down on a chair outside and drink an ice cold drink, right?
wait, no
thats me

Anyways, Holy stuff, that seems like ice hell though. Do you have anything to warm you up inside?

Theres like 1/2 inch of ice covering all the snow here.

that is one messy backyard

Yes, <3 em

Btw, it was like that down here in Alabama, of all places to get below 30 degrees!

What a beautiful scene, I would kill to stay atleast one day on a place like this, I live in rio de janeiro and it's loving hot here

Sad, sometimes, when it gets cold here, I wanna be in a hot place

Might want to crack a window, looks like it'll be a warm day.

I enjoy cold climate. I have a small ass heater which half works, but it's like 30-something and I have warm clothing.

My county canceled school for it being 9 degrees once, despite it being clear. But last week, he still had to attend school in 2 degree weather.

Also, that's quite cool.  That almost never happens where I live.  I just get dry snow all winter that gets all slushy and sticky after a couple days.  Last bad ice storm I had knocked a tree on my house.

I wish it would get like that here :c

where I live in alabama, it snowed for a bit, and it was a couple of inches thick
it didn't get like OP's pictures though. the snow got hard after a day, but you still left footprints and everything
nothing else was really frozen, though, besides the water in the cat bowl and some other small collections

We had gotten like two feet of snow here, and we usually don't. Try being loving short with two feet of snow.

I had to literally climb on my parents' vehicle and slide down just to help clear the snow.

On another note, when it first snowed this winter, I got all excited and took a stuff ton of pictures but now I'm kind of sick of snow. I might post the album because it was really pretty. I do have a few pictures of when it started snowing in school and we should've gotten out early but we didn't. http://imgur.com/a/KlQzg

Not to mention, when me and my boyfriend got home, there was a big ass frozen puddle in his yard. It was like a skating rink.
