Here are some of mine:
When I was 6 or 7 years old:
My older brother and I are running down the stairs and into our parents bedroom. It was night, so they were asleep. We went over to my dad's side of the bed and he asked us to go get his car keys. My brother and I ran back into the hallway and at the end of it was a pile of dead arms and legs flopping around like dead fish. We walked over to it and noticed that our dad's car keys were under the pile. I reached in to grab them, but I tripped and fell into the arms and legs. Then, my vision became like a static TV and I could hear the sound of it too (when you lose reception on your TV). Then I woke up.
When I was 5 or 6:
My dad and I are shopping in Best Buy when suddenly the fire alarm goes off. My dad and I run outside the store, as do the rest of the customers. When we get a good distance from the building, my dad is looking at it trying to find out what's on fire. I pull on his pants (because I am like 5 or 6) trying to get him to look at me. He finally turns around and he doesn't have a face. It's not like his face is all screwed up, he just doesn't have a face. It's like all skin, as if his entire face is a really big forehead. This scares the crap out of me and I jump back. Then I wake up.
This one really creeps me out:
It begins with me and my family standing behind our couch which the back of faces the bottom of our stairs. On the stairs are two cage-like doors that prevent little kids from falling down the stairs. It's night and we can't really see what is going on up the stairs. My mom says there is an old man we don't know on the second floor. My dad sends my older brother (about 8 or 9 at this time) to go check who is up there. He comes back down and tells us it's some old guy he has never seen before. Then, the old man, climbing over the small doors, comes down the stairs and when he reaches the bottom he looks directly at us. He stares at us for like 5 seconds, but says nothing. Then he slowly makes his way out our front door and closes it behind him, me and my family still staring. Then I wake up.
The dream begins with a crowd of people, including me, surrounding a small stage out in the middle of a desert. On top of the stage is a man with a megaphone. With the megaphone, he tells us "The first person to find this balloon wins $10,000". Then, he releases a large weather balloon. Next, the dream skips ahead to me, now in third person (I am spectating), watching a young man and woman driving through the desert in a old car (the two people remind me a lot of the two main characters in Jeepers Creepers). It looks like I am sitting in the back seat. While driving, they are constantly arguing about which way they should go to find the balloon. Then, the dream skips ahead a second time to a week or so into the future. I assume this because on the back of the car there is a metal rack kind of thing with animals hanging from it that the man and woman killed. There are large hairy mammals and a few large spiders hanging from it. They stop at a camp in the middle of the desert where there is a white and black woman living. The white woman is Kathy Bates (the mother in Waterboy and Big Mike's tutor in The Blind Side). This is interesting because my mom and I were watching The Blind Side that day. They compare the animals they have caught. Suddenly, I am in first person looking at the rack on the back of the car. Next to me stands someone I know from my school. He points to each animal and tells me what each one is (he would do that because he is one of those smart know-it-all's). Then, he yells out that the large spiders have gotten loose. Then I wake up. Next to me, my cat is sleeping and at first I think it is a giant spider, so I kick her really hard.
It may not seem scary, but try to visualize this:
The entire dream takes place in a waterfront shack type thing. Inside there are boxes and other things you would find near an ocean (fishing stuff, scuba stuff, etc). A man walks in and looks at an oxygen tank (used in scuba diving). Then, it skips ahead a few minutes (I assume) and the oxygen tank is stuck on top of his head and it is flinging his body around the shack. His legs are dangling around and the rest of his body is going crazy trying to get it off. Then I wake up.
The entire dream lasts about 5 seconds. Basically, it looks like I am falling down a large elevator shaft because I see metal moving upward very quickly (like I am falling). Then, suddenly, there is a large explosion that engulfs me. Then, there is a very eerie quietness after the fire has gone away and all I can see is blackness. Then I wake up. I've had this dream several times.
It starts out with me sitting in chemistry class with the rest of my class. Everyone is working hard on whatever problem they were given. I notice a hat sitting on one of the teacher's counters (it's a science class so there are counter-tops with sinks and such). The hat looks very familiar, so I pick it up and I realize it looks just like a hat I have. In fact, this hat is also signed, which my hat is too. I put it on because I think it's mine. The teacher notices me wearing it, so she walks over and asks me what I am doing. I say that it's my hat, but she keeps saying it's hers. She asks if it has 4 signatures on it. I take it off and look at it and I remember that mine only has 2 signatures. I hand it back to her and I feel really embarrassed. Then, the bell rings and everyone starts leaving the class. We all go down an escalator (which our school doesn't have). Then, the dream skips to when I get home and I am sitting on a couch in my living room (all the furniture is rearranged for some reason. I am sitting next to my dad and I tell him the story about the hat. Then, we both notice a woman in a white hardhat and white uniform holding a clipboard outside the window looking at the house. We realize it's the exterminator. Then I wake up.
I really like this one:
It was getting dark outside and we had the lights off upstairs. My older brother and I are at the top of the stairs talking and we agree to scare our little brother (who is about 3 or 4 years old). At the top of the stairs there are two rooms right next to each other. There is the bedroom that we all slept in and another room we used as a spare bedroom or a guest bedroom). The spare room was dark and you could barely see anything inside. My older brother went in and hid inside the room. My younger brother walked out of our bedroom and I told him to go into the spare room. He asked why, but I just told him to go in. He slowly walked into the room and my brother jumped out and scared the crap out of him. My little brother ran down the stairs and we started laughing inside the doorway. Then, there was a really low and creepy growl inside the spare bedroom and we both looked in. Then we looked at each other and took off down the stairs with our little brother.
