Author Topic: Coding GUI  (Read 1101 times)

This would be a great thing,

I could tell this would take days and days, even years, but it might be possible

It would work like Blockland's Events GUI, but it could do things that the Event system could not do, like Console commands, or brick spawning and stuff.

I don't understand what you want.

push your tilde/backtick key. it's right above the tab key on your keyboard.

there's your coding gui.

no, seriously, what do you want?

i think he wants the console 2 stuff brix

i think he wants the console 2 stuff brix
that's actually fairly accurate
i think he's asking for something like Scratch, but for TorqueScript instead

I don't understand what OP saying.

Press the Windows Key
Type "Sublime Text 3"
Press Enter
???
Profit.

What do you want in a coding gui that isn't already in the console?  Premade commands?

i think what he is asking for is codable bricks, as in, you wrench a brick, and you can code stuff into it.

I was also thinking something along the lines of this.

Akin to Minecraft's Command Blocks I assume.

correction

  • Press the Super (or Windows) key.
  • Press the s key.
  • Press the Enter key.

I think he wants an eval event.

Is it really that hard to interpret what he said? He's asking for an event-like interface for torque script commands, sort of like Scratch, as previously mentioned.

I think he wants an eval event.

I think so. Exactly five seconds later, someone makes a sign that says "DO NOT CLICK BUTTON"

Button:

onActivate > Self > eval [ crash(); ]
