I wonder, is it a good work if you can get over the you know, disturbing moments?
I personally just got into actually working with stations so I've yet to actually witness a patient death in any way. I've responded to calls but the closest thing I got so far to disturbing was a 75 year old lady rolling on the floor screaming in tears because she had such severe stomach pain. But someday it will happen so I'll see it first hand.
It's always been a thing I've loved though, Fire and EMS. It is something new everyday and you get to make a difference in people's lives so I believe it is a good job. It just all depends on how bad the stuff you will see affects you.
