Apparently something called a torque converter on my mom's car broke yesterday.
It was making this loud squeal noise. It was continuous. Fortunately, warranty handled the issue, and we are getting it replaced.
What do you think went wrong? She was just driving and it started making the squeal noise. And that was literally all the happened.

idk maybe instead of calling a car mechanic or engineer we could ask the lego forum

my dads car always makes this noise
just turn it off an on again until it stops making the noise

p.s. it was the belt squealing

uhh
you should probably get that fixed

just turn it off an on again until it stops making the noise

that's how you destroy a car

you realize blockland uses torque, right?

and you could probably call that .dts converter a torque converter

Does the car even drive with it broken? The transmission usually gets forgeted up big time when the torque converter breaks.

Without the torque converter, your transmission can get pretty forgeted up, so you might want to get that fixed...

Maybe the LOD mesh where you are doesn't include the converter??? try walking closer!

It probably wasn't messed up too bad then. The torque converter allows the engine to idle without moving the car, but when RPMs go up, it starts driving. If it was really broken I'd think it would be stuck in a locked up position or would just spin freely.
