Author Topic: Flappy Bird creator apologizes and plans to remove the game from the app store  (Read 19159 times)

It seemed kinda dumb in the first place, like a remake of the helicopter game. Glad it's gone, I was tired of hearing about it.

Real talk, they probably pulled in loads off "last second purchases" because of this. Excellently executed publicity stunt.
It's a free game that only gets ad revenue though

i like the game
kills time

There's got to be a better way to kill time...

Oh, dang. They shoulda charged before taking it down.

I guess you could say this game never... GOT OFF THE GROUND. HA. HAHAHAHAHA. see what I did there

No it did get off the ground it got popular over night

The app owner is obviously trying to gain attention by doing this. He is most likely going to pull out at the last moment and say "nevermind, I'm not taking it down!" and expects that we will all love him because we love flappybird. Just look at all the chaos he has caused- I even saw this on my local news channel. This is ridiculous and he needs to stop.  Seriously, notice how he's taking it down after it became the #1 game on the App Store. He is also doing absolutely NOTHING to stop people from actually playing the game- whoever has it installed already can keep it. So, what's the deal?

...its already been pulled from the appstore. you should really check and see if what you're saying is valid before posting

I bet its because nintendo threatened a lawsuit about the green pipes.

Dude it gets loving annoying when all you hear is the words flappy birds every 3 damn seconds
The only time I hear about flappy bird is when people like you won't shut up about how much they hate it. Think about that.
