I think that shot is more properly called DTaP.  I had it when I was like 12, it wasn't bad.  I know I was totally freaked out though, because it was my first shot in 6+ years.

I hate having shots, you could always ask for the doctor or nurse to use a butterfly needle on you though; they're less painful.
