Chase them as a society or only military units?

To Robolqia and EHA, really to everyone, but more importantly to military nations, do you have conscription/drafting?  What percentage would you say would your military makeup be of the entire population?



Also, people are voting affirmative but haven't posted any demographic info.

Robolqia is settling down to become less of a military nation, so we don't have conscription or drafts unless we need to.

Capitol name: Itgeltei
Robolqia is less of a sword wielding foot army, a majority are horse mounted lancers or archers (most).

Term 11 Report:
Megaterm III




  • Dolckrow constructs two barracks at Dolckrona.  Some of the population (3) moves from Dolckrona to Miastoicze.  Miastoicze shows signs of being a promising trading point, and boatmaking is being researched for travel and fishing.  Dolck inventors create the first air pump.  The scouting party is halted due to hostile races outside of Dolckrow's borders.  Negotiators and missionaries go out to greet them and offer friendship, but it resulted in the Dolck emmisaries being beheaded and cannibalized.  The army is preparing to mobilize.
  • Fitzea sits on its hands, and its society becomes less centralized.  Natives, called the Ichlan to the west wish to trade with them.
  • Robolqia founds its capitol officially, named Itgeltei.  Robolq scouts and horse archers are sent out to clear land, but meet strong resistance from natives in the area, which seem to have banded into two groups, the Ichlan, to the east, and the Nukaran to the south and southwest.  Robolqia faces short-term strikes as some workers were not given proper wages or food.  Luckily, with the recent emphasis on farming, the economy has been rescued.
  • Eltringham's Armies realizes that it is at its limits and needs to find an alternative way of life to prevent starvation and disease within its society.  Eltringham's Army moves to (30, 59), and uses up 3 food in the process.
  • Netyral discovers bacteria and the reflection telescope.  A school is built in Hesparem.

Fitzea accept the trade offer from the Ichlan, and offers iron, copper, and stone.
Meanwhile, they send a few men to explore (3-5, 9).

The economy is already in recovery from the farms.  Think of the economy being in a dive, then swooping quickly and climbing at about 35°.

These are the tribal alliances from before.

Ichlan stands between Robolqia and Fitzea, so no.  To you, Fitzea may not exist.

So I put 6 as n for my pop and 0 as the rate of conscription and it came out as a 4448 military pop. This seem right?

Okay, it ranges from -0.1 to 0.9.  This deals with offsets from the default military proportions, which is 10%.  In other other words, it should be 1/10th of your population at normal.
