Snowing there? Leave pics, totals, etc here.

It's still snowing pretty heavy here. About 14" with drifts up to 3ft.

I am unable to take a picture, but I live in Manhattan and it is terrible here. Winds are gusting up to 25 miles per hour, the snow is very heavy, there are no plows in sight even on the major streets like Broadway, and public schools are open. Our new mayor De Blasio is an idiot, he is too concerned about Stop and Frisk, rather than looking out for the welfare of schoolchildren on days like this. Thank god I go to a private school though, therefore my school was closed today. However, my brother has to schlep through this gigantic pile of snow to school. Keep in mind, there is so much ice under this current snow, and we have about 6 inches so far.

No precipitation for the last few months

Reminded me of Onions Kissing thing. lol

I'm in South NJ where it's all open fields, which is why I have slightly higher amounts from the snow blowing all around. A plow just went by though, well.. speeding by.

I thought Southern NJ was getting the rain now? Are you inland or by the shoreline?

well when it gets cold enough, precipitation freezes entirely in the atmosphere, resulting in snow, and since water expands when it's frozen, 1" of rain is like 10" of snow.

S'no snow in florida...

never snows here where i live. i only get rain.

12-18 inches in CT... no skewl today

A good foot and 3 inches.
