Personally I might employ one if they have changed and are good, but probably not if they are the standard scum who commit crimes each week, they could steal all your equipment/money.

Say they did it when they were a stupid teenager, and never did it again and was good speaking and stuff, then yes I would mostly employ them, but it's the scumbags that repeatedly do it that I would never dream of employing.
