this loving thing never says my text it's just drowned out in all the moist potatoes
Maybe you must feed the machine potatoes if you want it to speak your text

Maybe GLaDOS invaded the Twitch chat

Portal 3 ARG confirmed

Despite only having a little more than 2,000 users during the day, HOPEFULLY we can make it through the maze a bit quicker than in Pokemon Red, especially since it's more than likely that democracy will be coming back into play because of this mess

So far not looking so good, now democracy is back, the voices have stopped, and there's less potatoes

I guess Team Rocket HQ has permanently lowered the user count to the 2,000s during the day and 1,000s during the night instead of the 5,000 - 7,000 and 3,000s during the night

It's so weird seeing the command list go so slow, oh well, they managed to get by the HQ after some time and now they're in Lavander Town

Just bumping this to say that according to this chart

Crystal = most successful playthough
Emerald = worst playthough

Thankfully progress has been much better for FireRed despite the lack of users, they've even acquired all eight badges faster than Ruby, and even the original Red playthrough

Hopefully they don't take as long as they did in Emerald getting past Victory Road, beating the Elite Four and defeating the champion

They've certainly set themselves up for a good completion time this time around

This is still going?

This is still going?
yeah, not as popular as it was a while ago
tbh its really boring now :/

I'm taking a quick guess that FireRed will end before the finish time of Red. Also, it's Emerald, not Ruby.

Also, it's Emerald, not Ruby.
Whoops, too used to saying Ruby

This is still going?
Pokemon Platinum will be up next then randomized Heart Gold/Soul Silver

I suppose as long as the stream keeps getting users and fan made content, it'll keep going until it's caught up to the most recent Pokemon game that they're able to play on Twitch

I'm not sure how they're gonna do the DS games, the streamer said he's aware of the touch pad, but i guess he's gonna prepare something for when Black/White comes around

They probably won't be able to play X or Y anytime soon since there's no way to emulate 3DS games as far as i know

what was with the voices yesterday or so

what was with the voices yesterday or so
It started between Emerald and FireRed where the streamer was testing it out, not sure why it's a thing, but recently it's gotten it's own timer which then plays a robotic voice in the left and right channels of the speakers and shows the name of the user whose message it's speaking on the left and right to show what channel their message is being spoken on

text-to-speech was enabled for non-input chat (on Giovanni's Wild Ride of all places) and then enabled again somewhere else iirc

I guess the chat needed some entertainment while they spun in circles for hours

And then they found potatoes
potatoes
potatoes
potatoes
potatoes
potatoes
watermelons
potatoes
potatoes

what the forget this thing is still going? make it interesting and play every single game at once

i hope they don't do kanto a fourth time
but since they're doing hgss it's inevitable ;-;

will HGSS Red's team be the same as A's team in FireRed?

And so FireRed was beaten faster than the first game

And Slaking is eating confetti
