Still stand by my statement, when you're a pilot the game looks and feels like CoD without the bullstuff killstreaks so it's better than CoD in that sense.

Surprisingly, most other modern shooters like Medal of Honor 2010 or Homefront feel worse because they're trying (and failing) to imitate CoD.

That's generally true, yeah. The only CoD clone I've ever enjoyed was Soldier Front 2, because for some reason it just had really nice feeling combat. I think the fact that they used the generic "cranium being smashed open viscerally" sound for headshots was the main thing.

It's the repetitive kind of fun that wears on you after too long, though.

Then again, you can kind of say that about anything.
