They actually do have an instant kill melee like everyone else, they just never use it unless it's for intense kung fu fights with each other.

Fun fact: If you have the bot spotter tool equipped you can see the red and blue dot sitting in the same room waiting for you or another pilot to walk in so they can show off their kung fu skills.

I shot someone with the explosive sniper and it drained my health and i looked to my left while chambering my next shot and he got me.

EDIT: the guy i shot was pretty much point blank, too

Why cant I set the resolution/texture quality?
I have a 1600 x 900 moniter and a gtx 660 and it puts the texture quality to low and the resolution to 1280 x 720

No clue. I was able to 1080 perfectly fine.

Apparently you can only change the resolution and texure quality from the first menu screen.
