Badspot has pretty much abandoned the game.

Badspot has pretty much abandoned the game.

what do you base then on? he looks more involved then ever.

Badspot has pretty much abandoned the game.

didnt we already go over this

Because we've waited for more than half a year for things to be fixed and features added. The entire premise of the shadows and shaders update was for it to be a base for future updates that we thought would presumably fix vehicle physics and collisions. Instead we got... terrain bricks which were a terrible substitute for terrain. I'm probably beating a skeletal horse by now, but the fact is that removing terrains killed many of the fun servers on Blockland, such as Pecon's boss battles and most of the slopes Dogfights.

Correction: It's been nearly 2 years since the shadows and shaders update has been released. Vehicle physics still haven't been fixed, making the majority of them useless.

shadow and shaders + the removal of maps was to make the game feel like it was actually keeping up with the current standard so it can get on steam and attract people

And that happened, for a moment.

Then we lost the Hype.

don't get me started on gameplay vs. graphics.

it's stupid to remove a major part of a game's, well, gameplay just to make it look up to date.

-no quote pyramids goddammit-

Ah. I was thinking pre-Steam.

Badspot has pretty much abandoned the game.

Yeah, just like the other times he "pretty much abandoned the game" for the past few years.

Vehicle physics are a lot tougher to fix than simply not making them stuffty. There's a few different things in the game that make them the way they are.

This, 100%.

it took nearly two months for steam users to be able to register for the forum
and judging by the help section we are still having problems with steam users not being able to play properly
after two months
goodbye customer retention

that was the biggest problem imo. steam could've been a big great thing for the game, but all the problems we had just made it a big great disappointment :/

And that happened, for a moment.

what hype. the game got a decent update the to user base and its still growing, not as rapidly but that happens to all the games. it gets a ton of attention at release and then everyone goes quiet afterwards. no one is going to talk about the same game every day for a million years

the major part of the game is actually building and not the low resolution textured maps. theres been a good trend of people building big maps by bricks after the removal of ugly terrain. thats what the game is supposed to be.

badspot did all of what he did because its all about the looks, welcome to the daily marketing of games. leave the sob stories about gameplay at the door please

I've heard this guy wasn't very nice.

welcome to the way to make your gameplay crap. no wonder most steam users dropped the game after a few days.
