It is not like they would be "hi guys we just want all of your models and how your system works" and more of a "hey guys they walk into this style we should totally do it like that because it is cool." Models will literately, when guarding, stand almost completely still, and when one notices something, another model that has a better angle on the target will take the shot. They're not individuals, it's one computer controlling every singular one, and I doubt humanoid birds can pull that off.

When a alien race of humanoid bird people start observing the drones behavioural patterns, it's going to be assumed that they're attempting to find ways to combat them and find work arounds, and is thus a hostile act.
