Author Topic: Why do people use anti-perspirant?  (Read 4026 times)

Before you draw conclusions, please read the full post.
Anti-perspirant is handicapped. Deodorant I can understand, but literally making your body stop sweating is unintelligent. Your body uses sweat to cool down, and people are just stopping that from happening. Do you use anti-perspirant?

I would never have used it.
This is some stupid stuff.

What if you sweat too much????

isn't your body cooled once the sweat evaporates

what is the lost benefit when you stop sweating in the dark, hairy underside of your arm

because sweat is gross? jesus, I'd hate being around you after gym

you sweat places other than your armpits you know
but armpits are the worst so you might as well use anti perspirant

You don't put it on your entire body...
I don't think you're allowed to comment on anti-perspirant until you've reached puberty

i don't use deodorant because i'm a MAN

I'd be more worried about potentially dangerous chemicals in deodorant and antiperspirant than the lack of sweating. You make it sound like blocking your armpits will kill you.

sometimes my armpits just suddenly start sweating and it really pisses me off

i don't use deodorant because i'm a MAN
an incredibly malodorous man

Underarm sweat isn't even very useful if you're wearing clothing. It's not going to evaporate from your body sitting in an enclosed hotbox unless you just go around with your arms raised continuously.
