Stuff like this isn't rare at all. forget cops.
Out of how many million cops?
These stories are an incredible minority, it's just that the only stories made/that you do or will ever see are the exceptions.

Again, they may be a minority but they are certainly not rare.

when i see people insulting the police it makes me sad because i know they're just going to turn around and call the cops whenever they get in danger… even if they say they're not, I'm fairly sure the police have a better chance at saving yourself from a robber than you do

usually the people who say "forget cops" are either just teenage rebels looking to go against 'the norm', people who think they're tougher than they really are, or people who don't know anything

and reddit has completely twisted the article into some really left bullstuff

I'm a 100 pound weakling I know my capabilities. Of course I would call the cops if I was in trouble because what else could I do? I just think cops are too arrogant with their power and are given a stuffton more leeway when it comes to committing crimes. Just take a look at some of the posts on that subreddit I mentioned earlier. They can get away with anything and everything.

I don't go against the 'norm' to be 2edgy or whatever. I seriously think our country is going downhill not in just the economy, but the fact that this place is now "we the corporations" rather than "we the people". forget cops. forget the government. forget greedy corporations who hinder innovation.

Oh and that's not even mentioning the latest bills trying to be passed allowing the gay version of Jim Crowe. For forget's sake.

forget greedy corporations who hinder innovation.
Those corporations are always hindering innovation. I mean seriously, have they even invented anything? Last time I checked, there wasn't a single thing that I used that was invented or improved by a corporation.

Exactly.

Exactly.
I'm pretty much 100% sure that he was being sarcastic
but it doesn't matter bc you're both a little wrong I guess?? someone has to fund research, and "corporations" among other things are responsible for that. but they also only provide funding for things that will benefit their company. so whatever

While police brutality does happen, it doesn't happen on large scale or as frequently as the media wants you to think. Remember, the camera only wants to show you what the camera wants you to see.
Take this image for example:

Wow, that is a really good example picture.

Even the cops that are starfishs are starfishs because everyone is an starfish to them.
If I was getting abused to stuff every time I tried doing my job (and even when not) I would get pissed off too.

It's not my loving job to look up stuff for you. I simply provided you with a single resource.

as of a date about 2 weeks ago. more innocent people have been accidentally/unnecessarily killed by local police, then soldiers have died in iraq and afghanistan (since the wars started)

law enforcement are pieces of stuff
A family friend I know was shot over 30 times on his mom's porch because he stole an officer's truck.

It is true. It is a very stressful job with sometimes little satisfaction or rewards. You can only answer so many calls where you have to go to another rape, another domestic abuse, another Self Delete, another traffic ticket, another murder. Many of those go unsolved or the someone is not willing to press charges and just keeps getting victimized over and over. Doesn't help when you come home to see someone on CNN calling you a baby killer, a tribal, corrupt, or a thug. Those people you have to deal with everyday become just another person because they are just another person who got robbed, just another women who got beat by her husband, just another rape, another robbery, another burglary, another Self Delete. You grow up fast, especially if you are young cop.

One of my criminal justice teachers had a kid die his arms when he answered a call. You never come home the same person when something like that happens.

saw this on my local news yesterday
