Someone posted this link about this thing called Spritz on Reddit. Heh, Reddit

Apparently, it allows you to currently read up to 500 words per minute on the demo display. What do you guys think?

holy smoley, that looks like the new best thing ever

it looks cool but the only voice I can imagine with it sounds like a robot and that is lame

Books will always be special, but this is kinda cool. I wish they had an option higher than 500 wpm, though; it's too slow.

I want a thing that lets you paste the text into a box and it will Spritz it to you so you can read stuff fast.
Heck, I'll make it. That way we can read those tl;dr posts on blockland. :]

Spritz appears to adjust the timing based on the speed inwhich the word is read.

You mean just length of word means slightly longer duration?

This is pretty cool! :D

No, because the length of the word in letters has nothing to do with how long it takes to read.

Example: Thought v Insepid

cool. was really easy to read at 500wpm and understood everything.

except now theres an awful afterimage of my computer screen floating around my eyes D:
