Author Topic: Can this PC run Gmod good?  (Read 3951 times)

Are you saying $600 is a lot? For three years ago, it was decent for a decent price.

my pc is 5 years old, got it for 400 and it's about 2 times better than that :/

That stuff wasn't around five years ago though. Also, that's a really good deal.

but why did you not get a desktop? you could play gmod at top notch and many more games.

except like 99.9% of people get laptops to do stuff other than gaming??

i can name like 5 of my friends that bought laptops to game.

I got a laptop to bring to other places when I want (as I am now). It works just as well as a desktop, and I can't complain. I do use it for gaming, but nothing hard like Crysis. More like indie games (such as Terraria, Dwarf Fortress, and VVVVVV) and programming. Gaming laptops are expensive and unnecessary. OP's desktop is very nice compared to my laptop.

if anything buy this when it goes on sale, runs most games without issue and upgrading is easy

the answer youre looking for is yes, it will run gmod good. its not of my concern whether youre wasting your money or not

Try not to over do it. One of the main reasons GMod is so intensive is because GMod 13 broke things that should have been fixed early on, but it seems Garry is too busy rubbing himself in his revenue to fix them.
