Author Topic: I came out to my mom this morning (The Gay Megathread)  (Read 20081 times)

And to be fair they probably already knew or suspected in some regard.
parents are creepy as forget lol

Doesn't matter imo. Hiding the truth long-term will have not done anyone any good and if his parents were anti-equality then that's their problem, not his.
Nah, it's actually better to reveal it when you're leaving home or after you've already left home. Then all you have to deal with is them not calling you for a couple months.

And by "came out" I mean left a note before I went to school telling my mom I'm gay because I'm too much of a pusillanimous individual to tell my parents face to face.
I'm a 100 pound weakling I know my capabilities.
Lift weights, learn martial arts, learn Peer to Peer communication.

Left weights, learn martial arts, learn Peer to Peer communication.
Ok?

It's great that you did that.
Keep us updated.

Left weights

What about right weights?

Ok?
Martial Arts teachers discipline, plus the exercise helps remove negative stress and energy from your body. As for peer to peer communication, it helps with talking about your problems or talking to strangers.

What about right weights?
AUTO CORRECT WHY!

-.-
Its weird, I've already told my parents that i'm bi and they are just *shrug*

if they're not absolutely nuts or haven't really showed a distaste for gay people they'll more than likely just talk it over with you. make sure not to get mad either if they say something like "maybe you're just confused", getting mad at that won't help you or them

Not really
Theres quite a few cute boys in my school
And girls are pretty rad as well
You can find someone attractive and not necessarily be gay/biloveual.

Does loveual orientation even need to be explicitly stated?
Just find people to date/forget that want to do the same with you, doesn't matter what gender they are lol

Oh no watch out your parents the dreaded evil conservatives

don't let them take yer freedoms away

its weird when you see a "GUY" talking about how cute other "GUYS" are
:-\
I find it hard to believe that you're biloveual. You're only 11.
Bad parenting XD

o_O

tbh if your mom hates you for it then you have every right to pack up and move right the forget out because parents should love you no matter who you make yourself out to be or what you want to do with your life

good on you for being honest and telling your mom, it's a good thing to let people know so that they don't get shocked in the future.

this is kinda how I see it I guess. it doesn't really concern my mom who I'm attracted to. she'll most likely find out when I tell her I'm going to my boyfriend's house one day or something idk
but then again??? I can relate to wanting to tell your parents. I mean I want my parents to know, even if it isn't necessary. so I'm definitely happy when someone says they managed to come out or whatever, and I'd support anyone who said they were thinking about it

anyway, good luck, you probably don't need it though. most parents already know or don't care

I've noticed this trend on here were the forum's gay population come from southern states or just agricultural states.
