the only god damn story is the blue and green text after defeating the ender dragon
and that was a joke towards making fun of the player in a way.
so really it isn't a story.
It's not like "Lego" as a concept has a natural storyline around it either. There are people who get paid hundreds of thousands to come up with stories and screenplays for things and they'll always do it, regardless of how vague the focus is or how unrelated to a movie storyline the original product is.
Even though, Lego is much larger than just a simple block building survival sandbox game.
Honestly if they manage to somehow pull this off and it's actually good, I will not complain.
although not like they really have to try or anything cause as soon as they say "MINECRAFT MOVIE NOW IN THEATERS" about a million 11 year olds will be flocking to the nearest theater to see it no matter how bad it is.
