I've never done that before. I've had a latch malfunction before, it closed on my finger and cut off some skin. I've had my finger shredded by a steel fan before so a little sliver isn't really anything.

i have another scar on my other foot from when i slipped off of a diving board because i ran on it like a dumbass. my foot ground on the very rough plastic and shaved the skin clean off. it bled for a super long time too it was so gross
