I feel it's easy to do many things once you get used to where things are, but there is still quite a few things i don't understand or am not as good at doing as others

But overall it's easy if you know what you're doing

There's always the tutorials Valve made and the many tutorials the SFM community's made

After I was forced to stop working on that project, I tried to do some ptp animation where the soldier pushes a pyro. I selected all of time, posed the two characters in their initial pose. I then moved the first selector thing (in the motion editor) to the right. Whenever I tried to move the soldier or the pyro, they would instantly rebound back to their original position. How would I get past this?

Questions about this picture:
1. How did you recolor the accessories (Hat, cape, etc.)?
2. Where did you get the items (spear, gun) and the horse?
3. Where is the bedroom map?

Side Note: Does anyone have a download link the the map "stage" or something similar?

Okay, here's some images.

The models are in their starting pose, all of time is selected.

I select less of time, as you can see.

Only problem is, I can't move anything.
If I move, for example, Scout's arm, it snaps back to it's original position (the one I posed when all of time was selected)

your scrubby thing isn't in the selected area. move your scrubby arrow thing. playhead. yeah, playhead! drag that into your green area.

tis worked

Initially, I made this. It looks pretty nice.

So, my first problem was that I could not figure out how to manipulate the pyro that was created through recording gameplay (same pyro seen in the video). I tried going into the motion editor, the graph editor, selecting different things in the animation set editor, ect.
?

Uh, how do I load a map?

Hahaha oops, got it.

Double Toast; I've been having a problem while equipting the "Fallen Angel"
I lock them and stuff, and then when I pull the "zero" slider, it clips into pyro's body.

Edit: I made a desktop background while waiting for a response :P

Double Edit: New video!

Triple Edit: How does one get the super-smooth camera movements, like in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vJ-bXVKqbQ
Also, when you switch weapons in tf2, it plays an annoying sound.
When I'm playing back some gameplay, I hear it at random times. Is there any way to designate it, and delete it?

Have you tried using the 'One' slider?

That was the leaked beta SFM, not sure how it was done back then, but a way i can think of how it's done is that you can use the graph editor to create the various frames of where you want your camera to be and when, then go to the motion editor, click the (+) next to camera# in the animation set editor then find and select it's 'transform', then go to the motion editor, press Ctrl and A and use the Smooth slider to 100% once or twice

I'll use the one slider, and does there happen to be a tutorial for the latter explaination? (im looking it up)
Edit: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o313JaB_4zw is a tutorial that produces the stuff I want, so yay

This looks very nice. Although, with pictures, it's only one scene. With video, there are multiple scenes. How would the one that requires less work be harder?

None of the manipulators come up, I can't pose the model.
Help?
