its not okay to mute him period. Even if he said something like that he is preventing right of speech and is dismissing his opinion which some of these admins clearly have a problem with.

You don't have a "right of speech", dude. If "say whatever the forget you want to say regardless of the rules" (which appears to be what you mean by "even if he said something like that") was a right, every single server ever would have the chat flooded with starfishs like you.
That's why server sided mute commands exist: To silence the dumb stuffs who can play by the rules but not speak by them.

every server is going to have some bad administrators that have to be weeded out. but I think it's justified that you got banned for insulting someone who's the only thing keeping it from degrading into a massive cluster of chaos
