i remember when i heard about mine passing

no one seemed really affected too much, he was a great guy tho

yeah my great grandma was 102 years old and she just died of old age a few months ago

was sad to see her go, but she was so happy with what she's done in her life that she just embraced it

great woman, she was

All my great-grandpas have passed now.  Last one went in 2010-11 pretty sure, but I'd never even seen him before.  I still have two remaining great-grandmas though.  One is in a nursing home with Alzheimer's (she wasn't even 70 when I was born) and the other one is in her upper 80s living in Massachusetts.  Last I heard, she was still mowing her yard.

Your dad is pretty old. No offense, just a jab at humor :/

my grandpa died too long ago. i cried like a pusillanimous individual

wo my great grandma was 98 when she died in march

I cannot believe people have living great-grandparents at such an age.

My great grandpa died on Halloween from pneumonia and complications from second hand smoke (he quit smoking in the 50s but my cousin lived with him and he smokes like a chimney). He was 87 and probably would have lived alot longer had this not happened, and noone expected it. He was a great guy, an ex marine, ex fireman, had founded multiple companies, and never really retired or ever lived in a retirement home, and I miss him alot. I cried like never before. I'm really sorry, I know how you feel, just know that he lived a good, long life and that you got to know him. :panda:

Mine is heading that way. 83 years old here. I'm trying to spend as much as possible as I can with her.
