My great grandpa died on Halloween from pneumonia and complications from second hand smoke (he quit smoking in the 50s but my cousin lived with him and he smokes like a chimney). He was 87 and probably would have lived alot longer had this not happened, and noone expected it. He was a great guy, an ex marine, ex fireman, had founded multiple companies, and never really retired or ever lived in a retirement home, and I miss him alot. I cried like never before. I'm really sorry, I know how you feel, just know that he lived a good, long life and that you got to know him.
