Sure thing. I wasn't trying to be condescending, it's just people bring that up a lot when arguing against evolution, and it's a pretty weak argument.

The second law of thermodynamics claims that, in a closed system, energy will be lost to heat. If you watched the Bill Nye vs. Ken Ham debate, this is actually brought up. It's pretty simple: Earth is not a closed system. It is constantly receiving energy from the sun.

If it was a closed system, evolution would be the least of our worries. Earth would literally be devoid of life.

I'm not a physics buff so I have no clue. I just know that the second law of thermodynamics isn't doing anything to disprove evolution.
