Author Topic: I fell for the "SSFN File" phishing on steam.  (Read 4282 times)

This point is strengthened further by the fact that even John McAfee himself (and friends) had to make this video even though he left the company over 15 years ago.

I shouldn't have had to cite it but clearly you haven't seen it.
wait is that really him?

hope you did not REALLY lose all of it! also I prefer getting mcafee it helps you know if a website is a phishing website or not also protects you from viruses and virus sites
McAfee is basically a virus itself as far as I'm concerned.

Isn't avast considered the best free anti-virus or something?

I don't even know what th forget a ssfn file is. Why would you upload a sketchy file like that?

I think it is.
It detects some stuff others don't detect, but also doesn't detect things others do.

This.

On top of that, all community links generally in-link with the steam browser rather than going to your internet browser. So there should never be a reason to authenticate again.

And this is why I never click links on Steam unless it's from a friend.
