Author Topic: SQlite error: Unable to open database file.  (Read 1519 times)

I have deleted blockland on steam because i can't run a dedicated server and play at the same time and reïnstalled it from the .exe on blockland.us. But after installation it sais: "run blockland now?" i click yes and then i get an error message: SQlite error: "Failed to open 'C:\Users\[NAME]\Documents\Blockland//Cache.db' with error massage: Unable to open database file." I have read topic you need to delet your database.db in your blockland folder but I DON'T EVEN HAVE A BLOCKLAND FOLDER. Don't answer with stupid reply like: or somthing like that :/

You sure your Blockland folder isn't in "C:\Users\[NAME]\Documents\Blockland"?
If that is the case, could it be your computer is in a foreign language?
My Blockland created his own "my documents" folder because "my documents" is called "mijn documenten" in my language and that wasn't supported.
It can be that it is fixed, it has been a while since I installed BL on my computer.

Normally Blockland is installed in "C:/Program Files/Blockland" and Blockland then makes a folder in your documents when you start it up.
What I would do is uninstall it and reinstall it.

Nederlands hé? Nee, ik heb mijn PC ingesteld op engels :/. Blockland heeft geen folder gemaakt in mijn documenten. En in program files(x82) Zit in de blockland folder geen enkele cache.db

For people wo aren't dutch: Blockland didn't create a 'Blockland' folder in 'my documents', and in Program files(x82) in my 'blockland' folder isn't a cache.db.

Nop, There was a file (not a folder) just a file named: Blockland. Thats why it couldn't create a map blockland :/
