In Titanfall, players fight in online multiplayer-only matches set on a war-torn planet as mech-style Titans and their pilots. Its action is fast-paced, including abilities to run on walls and hijack mechs, and extended periods between player deaths. Respawn describes the game as bringing "scale, verticality, and story" to first-person shooter multiplayer gaming, incorporating elements traditionally used in single-player campaigns. The game uses Microsoft's cloud computing services to offload non-player activity to servers and optimize the home computer for graphical performance.

I want to get it but I don't have money :C

My dad's probs gonna come home tomorrow with a copy for me and him on PC. :3

i wanted it but then 40 gb and 59.99

The only thing keeping me away from it is the fact I would have to download Origin, and I honestly don't feel like doing it just to play one game.

Hopefully picking it up this weekend, probably going to be my main FPS game for a while since CoD doesnt feel the same, and BF4 is fun sometimes, but I just dont get into it as much.

also known as: Giant robot demolishing simulator

rofl "mech-style titans"

they're loving mechs, full stop. anyone who says they aren't is loving handicapped.

and 30+ gb of that is audio

Lol why? That just means the sound literally takes up more room than the actual game itself?

but they aren't mechs!! they'res something entirely new and different!! the developers even said so!!!

"The reason there’s so much more data required for the PC version of Titanfall isn’t to cope with high-end PCs, bigger textures, and more detail. It’s actually to allow the game to run better on minimum spec machines, with the issue being one of audio.
The Xbox One has audio decoding built into the hardware so it isn’t an issue. Higher end PCs also don’t have any issue decoding audio and playing the game at full speed. But at the low end of the spec, when you hit the Core 2 Duo and Athlon X2 dual-core processors, you don’t want one of those cores spending time decoding audio.
Respawn’s solution to that was to ship the PC game with uncompressed audio–35GB of it. That way the CPU is free to focus on running the game, not making sure the audio is available to use."

not a mech according to devs

mech

If I called a potato a froodle it'd still be a potato whether or not I shouted it was a froodle until I was purple in this face. (As my face is already blue)

Also COD with mechs and grunts... Not worth 60$.

thats very considerate of them to optimize the game for the lower end of the PC market.
