I'm in 8th grade.  Same schedule every day with 7 periods. School starts at 7:20 and ends at 2:30 (or 1:30 on Wednesdays with shorter classes):

I also take Geometry Honors at home on FLVS (Florida Virtual School) because why not? I rarely get much homework anyway

I thought As were the first part of the two piece system like: Algebra 1A and Algebra 1B

not just A
but we do have an honors and merit system

I'm in High School.
We have a few periods, lunch, then we finish the day.
We have 5 minute intervals between classes to get to our next periods, which is barely enough time to walk the length of campus since it's pretty big.

I'm in highschool too, we get 25 min interval after form time (15 mins) and 2 periods (2 hours) then it's another 2 periods (2 hours) then 1 hour lunch, then 1 period for last class (1 hour), with 5 mins in between to get to class. (Barely enough time like you said)
This is every day so i'm cool with it.
