Cats or Dogs?

Cats and doges are different. You can't really walk a cat, wrestle a bone with it, get it to fetch, or pet it anywhere without being attacked. However, that means that dogs are high maintenance, where cats aren't. No need to walk, just clean a litterbox. So it depends. Do you want a high-maintenance companion you want to do things outside with, with fetching and chasing, or a low-maintenance creature that likes to cuddle occasionally?

I just don't think they're comparable.

Intending on my opinion.  Just saying I'd rather have

a low-maintenance creature that likes to cuddle occasionally

than a high maintenance animal when I'd rather be doing other things.  Sure, dogs are fun, but when I move out I'm not going to have time for it.
