There's no reason to push millions of dollars into studying the effects of GMO foods because it's pointless. A genetically modified organism and a regular one are substantially equivalent. Would you finance a study with millions of your own dollars investigating the long-term health effects of organic food versus food that has been blessed by a witch doctor from Papua New Guinea?
Actually hell yeah

Unfortunately, I don't believe either of you have millions to spend.
Worthless filthy human forms of exchange

screw the rules i have energon chips

Organic is gross too.

stuff comes from the ground yo

I am actually, I should explain more.

The soaps and such are because my skin is sensitive to almost everything, so I avoid chemicals where I can for that. I buy organic toothpaste because of the fluoride, you can believe what you want. But if fluoride can be used to make a bomb then surely it cannot be good for you.

The organic food is mostly just a preference, I don't want to eat GMO food without proper long-term testing. Which has yet to be done. I also find that some non-organic food gives me stomach issues whereas the organic version of it don't. As of 2013 26 countries ban GMO crops. Hawaii also banned GMO crops. Surely that says something. Small communities have also banned them. You can check out March Against Monsanto which is making all this possible in the first place.

Most of my family comes to me for organic food since I'm the grower. Last year my tomatoes were praised as "the best ever", even got paid for some.  :cookie:

As for the water filter, that's because our well water is very high in iron. There are chunks of it in the filter. I actually had a hydroponics system last year and the iron completely clogged up the pump multiple times and the pipes were completely orange and rendered almost unusable.

you're beginning to sound like one of those doomsday preppers

You would be surprised how much my family cans.

I hear some organic toothpastes have zinc oxide in them. You can believe what you want, but if zinc oxide is a component in batteries, fire handicapants, cement, glass, lubricants etc; then it could possibly be that our universe which contains 90 basic elements naturally and some 27 man-made elements which can be combined in seemingly limitless ways, has some basic molecular similarities between two completely loving different objects.

Mine does not have zinc oxide listed. Mostly leafy stuff like aloe vera, olive leaf extract, pepperminet, iceland moss, etc..

Wasn't my point, but that's fine.

Could you tell me how any of those ingredients you listed aid in dental health? Last I checked rubbing my teeth with leaves was less effective than you might think.

did someone post that "guaranteed replies" picture yet

I love how all of these articles are from news sites I've never heard of.

Uh.

Fluoride is in toothpaste.

I'm pretty sure if toothpaste is safe to put in your mouth, then so is water with fluoride.

You mean the electoral colleges voted for him.

THE PEOPLE wanted that one white guy to win.
where do you get your ideas?
NOBODY wanted romney to win, that's the only reason why obama won.

if you're going to be a handicap, do it in the privacy of your own home.
