i don't understand how these things are impressive

I can become one too with a month's effort

i don't understand how these things are impressive

People that are baffled by technology think programming is hard, and the thought of a 12 year old doing it is insanity to them.

The kid is smart for his age, but the way he gave his speech ohmg

He just...moves his arms too much. It's distracting. At one point I was more focused on that remote in his hand than what he was actually saying

People need to forget off with their android/iphone games. Seriously stop with games all together. We already have enough actual companies stuffting out games every year. Make useful daily applications people will use, not ass rip-offs of more successful games. No one is impressed by your Game Maker Studio skills.

Some App Games are fun but others really are cheap and handicapped games (FLAPPY BIRD) like what the hell. Is this the new generation of hardcore gaming?! TEMPLE RUN?! COME ON

a dog could make an iphone app so long as it doesn't have any complex gameplay aspects in it
did i mention that a dog can also use LOIC so maybe the media should stop feeding these kid's egos when they decide to become a pR0 |-|axz0R

I made an android app which counts a square root of soth. And I'm a loving pencil

The media focuses on the most meaningless bullstuff. A lot of kids develop apps, it's not that rare of an occurrence. This video is also like really old haha.

His prepubescent voice annoys me

I mean, I guess he's clever for his age, but loving hell I just cringe when I listen to him.

i made a sonic clone when i was 11
not impressed

i made a spaceship shooting game via gamemaker studios demo when i was like 10

wheres my ted talk

I'm sure there are plenty of 14-15 year olds who could make an Android app fairly easily if they took time to learn Java/how Android apps are structured. This kid just happened to stumble upon programming earlier in his life. Good on him, but I don't really think it's precocious, maybe it's more that he was lucky to fall into it so early.

Wait THERE WAS A SPEECH. I thought thr video was about the little remote. Rewatching
