This kind of goes hand-in-hand with my forum rules in every board thing.
Basically, anything that can get you banned should be in the forum rules. No more unwritten rules!
Also it would be easier to understand for younger players.
1. Do not create threads with titles that don't describe why the thread is there. Basically, instead of just making a topic in the help board titled "help," you should explain the issue, for example, "Blockland crashes when loading objects" would be good.
2. Do not post disturbing material. This includes research, extreme gore, and other gross stuff.
3. Do NOT talk about pirating software anymore. Don't even post a LINK to pirated software- just don't post anything related to it. Of course, you may mention it in trying to tell someone rules or tell them if they broke a rule- but don't talk about actually pirating games.
4. Use the Search feature before posting a question. If the search features isn't working for you, google is there.
5. Do not plea for sympathy.
Don't say that you are leaving the forums if someone doesn't stop doing something, for example. Just leave- it's the internet, you're not forced to use a certain website.
6. Think before you post- self-explanatory
7. Do not flame - Do not use the entire post to tell a user how much they suck. For example, if a user posts about a medical condition, don't randomly come out and post "you're handicapped". That's not only uncalled for, but WILL get you banned.
8. Do not cross post. - Do not post the same thing in more than one board. No loopholes, don't create multiple topics of the same thing in a board if the last related topic was recently posted.
9. Do not advertise other forums- Do not say "oh facepunch is better than this" or "come join steam forums!".
10. No pyramid/referral schemes - Do not make posts with stuff like "please click on this link and i'll get an xbox!"
That NEVER works.
11. No chain-letter style spam - Don't make posts saying something similiar to "if you don't repost this message you will die at night" or "copy and paste this and something special will happen". These are irritating and will get you banned.
12. Do not admit to trolling, attacking blockland, DDOSing, or anything of that matter.
13. Do not post for a banned user. Obviously, it's his/her fault they got banned, so posting for them is like giving them an alternate account.
14. Do not post any screamers, rickroll, or any trap links.
15. Do not spam.
