Author Topic: Do you ever read someone's post in a certain tone?  (Read 2019 times)

/title

I read pie crust's posts in this 10 year old high pitched kid who's trying to act cool for some reason. I also read Zealot's posts in a very manly tone lol. There's probably more but i can't think of any.

/discuss but no arguments please.

not really, it just depends on what they're saying or how they're saying it or whatever, doesn't matter who it is

I read some peoples in a different tone.
for whatever reason I always read bloukface's posts in a voice that sounds like a little kid, I dunno why exactly.

i always read my posts in a really deep voice
because you know
im loving renderman

i always whisper my own posts after i make them for some reason

i read everyones posts with american accents

oh yeah i read furdle's posts in an english accent

Not unless people are typing in a way to mimick an accent, or typing in Caps Lock, in which case it either matches the accent or is angry/dumb in Caps.

Otherwise it's usually quite monotonous. I don't really imagine any tone, but I still usually get what people are saying (but not always, which is the difficulty in discussing things over text alone).

I read this in a squeaky 14 year old boy's voice.
How close am I?

I always read Sir Dooble's posts in a stereotypical British gentleman's voice.

I read everyone else's post in a voiceless American accent.
