Anyone else than me excited for this? I'm a fan of the two first Carmageddon games, and I've been following the development of Reincarnation for over a year now. The pre-release footage looks amazing considering the game is still in pre-alpha stage, and I pre-ordered the game just a few hours later. It's $30 if anyone's wondering, btw, which I guess is half the retail price.

So yeah, discuss the new Carmageddon.

I want this game. Another 90s reboot done right.

And the soundtrack kicks ass.

well folks, ive played it and the game is good. lots of smashing vehicles & violent encounters with pedestrians. violence is good. a classic video title.

Looks nice, sort of
I barely see new improvements in mechanics except for some HD remake of 1, 2 and TDR2000.
I was hoping for some Bugbear Entertainment level of destruction but nope, the destruction feels extremely arcadey. A bit too much maybe.

Holy stuff
the original was one of my first computer games, I'm definitely pre-ordering this.

They should improve the car textures or shading, it looks like a toy car or a car made out of plastic

Pre alpha. Mechanics come first.

It looks pretty awesome! The physics are the impressing part.

Oh stuff I forgot this thread existed. Should I update the OP with some more info and make it into a megathread, perhaps?
