In the darkness, lights start to glow.

The camera begins to flicker on.

Where the forget are you?

For some reason, you can't seem to remember where you are or how you got there. You should probably do a more comprehensive search of your driv-

Memory section corrupted!

Well stuff, looks like the most recent sector of recordings has been corrupted. Oh well, doesn't look like you're in too much danger. Maybe you just did something stupid. Like, really stupid. Or maybe someone else is behind this. Look, does it really matter? Your integrity appears to be at full and your power reserves are fine.

Do a system diagnosis, because there is nothing else to do...

You run a system diagnostic.

Encountered 1 problem:
Hard drive section 0x0a2f corrupt.

This is really weird. That's all that's wrong? Then why did this happen? You could explore a bit, or check out your modules, or something, considering your memory is all messed up.

Check modules, and use feedback cameras to observe your surroundings...

Hard reboot.

No, I'm not talking about Self Delete here.

The character already rebooted, like five seconds ago...

Dude, this stuff isn't instant. I have to make these things, you know.

Well, those are your modules. When installing modules, you have to make sure you don't overburden your transportation with weight and  you have to balance power. For non-essential components, you can draw power away so that not everything has to be used. For example, transportation and weaponry are currently at only 50% power because we don't need to move quickly or shoot too powerfully. Keep in mind, however, that components take time to power up so if you get attacked with weapons disabled, you will not be able to fight for a few seconds!

Try a Memory Module Diagnostic, and then use the Sensor Module to scan the location...

I'd get rid of your Tesla Module for right now. See if you can create a "Hide" Module that will temporarily get rid of modules, and then you can call them back using one of your existing modules.

Why would You want to do that?

You don't create modules silly, you find or buy them. There might be a way to craft them at a special workshop, but for you there's no crafting. I think what you mean is to cut power, so we'll have +2kW (that's the number in parenths next to the energy). One watt (W) is equal to one joule (J) per second. The k just means 1000. For the record, one AA battery holds about 10kJ, so our storage system isn't very good but it doesn't need to be as long as our power is equal or greater than our cosumption, so we will never drain power.

that's a lot of text to take in

>Use your eyes for once: is there anything nearby?

There's a city over there.
